Consistent with Bononi Law Group's mission, Ms. Gomez-Novy devotes her practice to representing employers and employees in a wide range of employment matters including sexual harassment and discrimination, disability discrimination, wrongful termination, retaliation, wage and hour, and unfair competition claims. She also provides employers with ongoing preventative advice regarding employee hiring procedures, employee discipline, wage and hour matters, employee termination strategies, internal investigations of alleged harassment or other employee wrongdoing, employee policy and handbook matters, and compliance with employment related federal and state laws.? Ms. Gomez-Novy has successfully litigated employment disputes in state and federal court, representing both employers and employees.

Ms. Gomez-Novy received her law degree from University of California, Berkeley, where she was a Graduate Minority Program Fellowship and an American Jurisprudence Award Recipient.? Ms. Gomez-Novy received her undergraduate degree in Government from Claremont McKenna College, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude.? While at Claremont McKenna, Ms. Gomez Novy received Departmental Honors and the Department Award for Outstanding Major.

Ms. Gomez-Novy is a member of the State Bar of California and admitted to practice in the United States Court of Appeal, Ninth Circuit and United States District Court, Central, Eastern and Northern Districts of California.
