Eddie Litton has spent the majority of his legal career practicing with

Eddie Litton has spent the majority of his legal career practicing with large
firms in Tampa, Florida, Atlanta, Georgia, and Dallas, Texas. Prior to launching
his own firm, Mr. Litton served as Chief Legal Counsel and the Director of the
Workplace Safety Practices Group for Lacerte Technologies in Dallas, Texas, a
start-up human resources technology, consulting and outsourcing company. He
joined Lacerte from Hunton & Williams' Dallas office where he was an
attorney with the Labor and Employment practice group. In this capacity, Mr.
Litton handled all aspects of labor and employment matters for various size
clients as well as provided counseling and training to clients in the areas of
discrimination, sexual harassment, wage and hour matters, WARN Act compliance
and other reduction in force issues, wrongful termination, FMLA, ADA, OSHA,
affirmative action compliance, union relations and avoidance, contract
negotiations, labor arbitration, employment agreements, and covenants not to
compete.?
Mr. Litton began his career in Tampa, Florida with Carlton Fields as a labor
and employment associate and then joined the firm of Annis, Mitchell, Cockey,
Edwards & Roehn where he practiced with the firm of Troutmen Sanders in
Atlanta, Georgia prior to joining Hunton & Williams' Dallas Office.
Mr. Litton received his J.D. from Stetson University College of Law in St.
Petersburg, Florida and his B.S. degree in Industrial and Labor Relations from
The University of South Florida in Tampa. He is licensed to practice in the
state courts of Georgia, Florida, and Texas and has been admitted to practice in
the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, the
United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida, the United
States District Court for the Northern, Southern, Eastern and Western Districts
of Texas, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth and Eleventh
Circuits. |
