"I have been a member of the Bar for over 38 years and have a general law practice in Bowie.
My previous experience includes service as an attorney with the Estate and Gift Tax Division of the Internal Revenue Service, as Assistant State's Attorney for the City of Baltimore, MD, where I prosecuted major felony cases, and as a trial attorney with the Civil Division of the U.S. Dept. of Justice. I also served as Deputy Associate General Counsel with the Presidential Clemency Board created by President Gerald Ford.
Over the past 27 years, I have engaged in the private practice of law. My practice has focused on family law, personal injury, estate planning, business law, and criminal law. My family law practice includes divorce, custody, support, property settlements, and adoption matters. I further provide mediation services to help spouses reach their own settlement of divorce issues. I also handle personal injury matters, including automobile accident, slip and fall, and wrongful death cases. My representation in estate planning includes preparation of wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and elder law matters. The business matters I handle include incorporation of businesses, review and drafting of contracts, and business litigation. I also handle criminal matters, including representation of clients in felony, misdemeanor, driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, and juvenile matters."
