I have practiced law for more than 25 years, and am licensed in Maryland, the District of Columbia, and Pennsylvania. In 1973 I received my bachelor's degree with distinction from the University of Virginia, and in 1978 I earned my law degree from the University of Maryland. Recently I earned an M.B.A. from Johns Hopkins University. After law school, I became an associate, and later a partner in a large Philadelphia law firm where I represented individuals and businesses primarily in cases involving insurance law, personal injury, wrongful death, property damages, financial losses, motor vehicle accidents, medical and dental malpractice, and products liability.

In 1993, I returned to the Baltimore / Washington D.C. area, where I took a position with USF&G, a large national insurance company, managing lawyers across the country. After several years, I realized that I preferred helping people and businesses with their legal problems. In 1996 I opened the Law Office of Robert B. Goss, P.A. in, Howard County, Maryland. Since that time, I have dedicated my practice primarily to legal matters related to personal injury, auto accidents, employment law, insurance, medical malpractice, or small business litigation.
