Firm Profile
Dale Cooper has practiced law in this county for more than 30 years. He started this firm literally, from the ground up. He started it by assisting clients with business needs and with real estate transactions, both residential and commercial. This practice gave him the opportunity to get to know the members of most of the local planning boards and get to know the process for getting a real estate project approved starting with the development stage. In addition to helping clients work from beginning to end on a real estate project, he helped them grow and build their successful businesses. Catherine Riesterer's legal career began outside of Livingston County, where she gained a broad range of corporate commercial and real estate experience, working for one of the largest law firms in the state. Her excellence and ability lead to her talents being recognized and appreciated by the Domino's Pizza Corporation. There, she was put to work as Assistant General Counsel in the company's international division, helping the corporation to expand in over 50 international markets. In addition to franchise law, she provided legal assistance to Domino’s in all areas of business and development. While this opportunity gave her the chance to get some exceptional experience, her family ties eventually brought her back to this community and now the businesses in this area benefit from the skills she gained elsewhere. Together, Cooper & Riesterer are able to offer their clients the same level of skill and experience that many thought they would have to seek from larger firms. As the local Brighton community thrives and expands in size and wealth, the businesses in the area need more and more technical legal advice than they did decades ago. We at Cooper & Riesterer stand ready to do things that will help the community grow, both from within, and as a result of others moving here from elsewhere. We stand ready to assist these newcomers to our community as they look to expand their businesses as our community grows. By utilizing our local legal expertise, we can help you do things more easily and quickly to give your project the greatest chance for success. In addition, as you work through preliminary matters, we offer you the advantage of our existing local office and address and name recognition. If you're looking at starting your own business or want to take advantage of the growing community to buy into a franchise or explore a real estate transaction, we invite you to contact us. We welcome the chance to discuss with you the factors you need to consider and investigate before you put pen to paper. We think you'll find us passionate and ethical about the work we do and appreciate how we can make that work for you. |
