Litigation is the cornerstone of our practice. About 20% of this consists of commercial and insurance coverage matters, including contracts, business breakups, unfair competition and the defense of insurance agents' errors and omissions claims. Much of the remainder involves products liability, particularly products of a toxic nature. We represent both plaintiffs and defendants. We became experienced in toxic products law through over ten years of asbestos litigation defense. We are now applying this experience on the plaintiffs' side in lead poisoning, carbon monoxide, electromagnetic frequency and other cases of a similar nature. We continue to defend asbestos cases and other products cases. Our emphasis on computer technology and the efficient use of legal assistants and contract attorneys has allowed us to manage cases of a volume and complexity competitive with much larger firms.

Our representation of children and others injured by toxic products has resulted in our becoming advocates for prevention of these injuries. To that end we have given over two hundred presentations to a variety of neighborhood and family groups on identifying and avoiding lead hazards, and have also appeared frequently as radio and television talk show guests to that end. We also publish a monthly lead newsletter with a current circulation of more than two thousand persons.
