Ernest Sasso is the principal of the Law Offices of Ernest Sasso, located in Willow Grove, Pennsylvania (Philadelphia area). Mr. Sasso's practice encompasses general business law, and focuses on international trade and investment, intellectual technology, including the law and resources of the Internet, arbitration, and litigation. He has engaged in a wide variety of business transactions as both a legal advisor and a principal in Asia (particularly China), Europe, the Middle East, South America, and Oceania. As inside counsel for a global, New York headquartered corporation, Mr. Sasso played a dominant and pioneering role in negotiating the first agreement with China that permitted a non-Chinese company to take majority ownership in a joint venture with a Chinese entity during the period from 1984 to 1986. Mr. Sasso's practice also incorporates labor and employment law, where he counsels and represents clients on a broad range of issues, including traditional labor law, employer counseling, and employment litigation. Ernest Sasso is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar, and he is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit [Washington] and the United States Court of International Trade [New York], as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the Third and the Fifth Circuits [Philadelphia and New Orleans], and the United States District Courts for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania [Philadelphia], Middle District of Pennsylvania [Scranton], and the Northern District of Texas [ Dallas ].
