Ernest Sasso is the principal of the Law Offices of Ernest Sasso, located in Willow Grove, Pennsylvania (Philadelphia area). Mr. Sasso's practice encompasses general business law, and focuses on international trade and investment, intellectual technology, including the law and resources of the Internet, arbitration, and litigation. He has engaged in a wide variety of business transactions as both a legal advisor and a principal in Asia (particularly China), Europe, the Middle East, South America, and Oceania. As inside counsel for a global, New York headquartered corporation, Mr. Sasso played a dominant and pioneering role in negotiating the first agreement with China that permitted a non-Chinese company to take majority ownership in a joint venture with a Chinese entity during the period from 1984 to 1986.

Mr. Sasso's practice also incorporates labor and employment law, where he counsels and represents clients on a broad range of issues, including traditional labor law, employer counseling, and employment litigation.

Ernest Sasso is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar, and he is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit [Washington] and the United States Court of International Trade [New York], as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the Third and the Fifth Circuits [Philadelphia and New Orleans], and the United States District Courts for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania [Philadelphia], Middle District of Pennsylvania [Scranton], and the Northern District of Texas [ Dallas ].

Prior to attending law school, Mr. Sasso received a B.A. magna cum laude from the State University of New York at Stony Brook, and was a member of Pi Alpha Theta , the International History Honor Society. Mr. Sasso also received an M.A. in History from Columbia University , where he produced an original, unpublished thesis on the origins and dissolution of the Purchase System in the British Army.

Ernest Sasso's memberships and affiliations include the Montgomery Bar Association, where he served on its Board of Directors, formerly chaired its International Law Committee, and is presently chair of the Internet Law Committee. He is also a member of the American Bar Association, Association of Trial Lawyers of America, International Bar Association, New York City Bar Association, and Pennsylvania Bar Association.

Mr. Sasso has served as a contributing editor and author of key sections of the authoritative BNA treatise on the Fair Labor Standards Act, as well as for the European Market Law Report. Mr. Sasso has also written extensively for professional publications, including the Philadelphia based The Legal Intelligencer (the oldest daily legal newspaper published in the United States ), The International Lawyer, published by the American Bar Association, and The Entrepreneurial Edge and World Trade magazines .

Ernest Sasso has also given numerous seminars worldwide before legal, business, and scholastic audiences, including presentations at the University of London, South Central University for Nationalities, and Wuhan University Law School in Wuhan, China (Hubei Province), and Villanova University, in the Philadelphia area.
